The Department of promotion for Industry & Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry –DPIIT , Vide their notification No G.S.R. 127 (E) has laid down the definition & Eligibility for the recognition of Business Entities as " START UP". The Company should demonstrate its business activities in the area of innovative products / use of new technology improving the products & process and or adopting business model having high potential of employment & wealth generation & presently operating within the Turnover limit as laid down by DPIIT.
